You will not use, purchase or otherwise incorporate the words "GAP.COM," "GAP," "GAPBODY,", "GAPMATERNITY," "GAPKIDS," "BABYGAP," “GAP FACTORY,” “GAP OUTLET,” “GAPFACTORY.COM,” “GAP CA,” “GAP CANADA,” “GAPCANADA.CA,” or variations or misspellings thereof in the domain name(s) of Your Site(s), on any meta tags of web pages comprising or available on Your Site, or in advertising or searchable keywords in any search engine, portal, sponsored advertising service or other search or referral service, including but not limited to, Google and Overture and any other PFP provider. You may not use any Gap Inc. trademarked terms or misspellings of trademarked terms to re-direct traffic through an Internet Service Provider (ISP) to a page on your website or Gap Inc.’s website without written approval from Gap, Inc.

Prohibited SEM Display URL Content

Use of the brand terms, misspellings and / or derivatives is not allowed in the display URL of any Search campaigns.

Use of the brand terms, misspellings and / or derivatives is not allowed in the ad copy of any Search campaigns.

Special Instructions for Search Marketing Publishers

· You may not claim to be Gap in any pay-for- placement or other search engines.

· Brand terms, misspellings and / or derivatives of brand terms must be set to negative match in keyword bids for all Search campaigns (exact and broad match on the brand terms are not allowed on trademarked terms such as “Gap”, nor on misspellings and / or derivatives of the brand terms).

· Cyber squatting through the misspelling or use of the brand terms, misspellings and / or derivatives within URL strings and domain names is not allowed.

· Violations will be cause for affiliate's immediate termination and any unpaid commissions will be unearned, disallowed and/or charged back.

Gap US affiliate program may reject your application or terminate you after your application has been accepted, for any reason including but not limited to, if we determine (in our sole discretion) that you engage in activities or promotions that are inconsistent with the offers Gap Inc. makes available, or engage in promotions that are untruthful, inaccurate, misleading or your site is unsuitable for the Program for any reason, including, harmful, threatening, defamatory, obscene, sexually explicit, harassing, or racially, ethically, or otherwise objectionable, such as sites that:

• promote sexually explicit materials;

• promote violence;

• promote discrimination based on sex, religion, nationality, disability, sexual orientation, or age;

• promote illegal activities; 

• infringe or otherwise violate any copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights.
