Basics
In order to be connected to the program you are required to have a working website with good performance and a decent amount of traffic, or a proven community on social media. Otherwise, the application will be declined. Brand Usage
Affiliates are to at all times adhere to the Official Animal Brand Guidelines in the use of the brand name, logo and related images.
Affiliates are not allowed to register the brand, Animal and Animal Pak, or any variation of it on any social media platform. This includes and does not limit to brand + generic word or sentence as well generic word or sentence + brand.
Affiliates are not allowed to register the brand, Universal Nutrition, or any variation of it on any social media platform. This includes and does not limit to brand + generic word or sentence as well generic word or sentence + brand.
Use the word ‘official’ in conjunction with Universal Nutrition or Animal or any variations, in any media or advertisements, is prohibited.
Domain Usage
Affiliates are not permitted to purchase, own or bid on any domain names with the word “Animal” or “Animalpak” or “Animalpack” or “variations or misspellings of such in the URL. For example, info.animalpak.com.
Affiliates are not permitted to purchase, own or bid on any domain names with the word “Universal” or “UniversalNutrition” or “variations or misspellings of such in the URL. For example, info.universal.com.
Affiliates must not include Animal Brand Terms and Universal Nutrition Brand Terms, or misspelled variations of the same, in the sub-domain of their website’s URL. For example, animal.affiliate.com, universal.affiliate.com.
Affiliates may use correctly spelled Animal Brand Terms and Universal Nutrition Brand Terms after the domain of their website’s URL. For example, https://www.affiliate.com/animal.
AnimalPak does not pay commissions on international sales.
Keyword Usage
Brand bidding, along with any variations, is not permitted on any search engine or keyword-based advertising platform. Affiliates may use generic keywords.
Restrictions include, but are not limited to, the following:

Use of any brand keywords, along with keywords such as coupons, codes, promo codes, vouchers. discounts, etc. is prohibited.
Use of any Universal Nutrition domains, or variations, as keywords is prohibited.
Direct linking to Universal Nutrition websites from paid search ads is prohibited.
PPC affiliates are not allowed to bid on any Google banned terms or misspellings, or derivatives, in relation to Universal Nutrition brands.
Commissions will not be paid where there is evidence of any paid search activity on brand terms without prior authorization. This includes permutations, misspellings and broad matches containing brand terms.
Social Media
Affiliates must not post on any Universal Nutrition social media platform in order to attempt to drive visitors to their webpage. Universal Nutrition social media platforms include Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Youtube under the Animal and Universal Nutrition brands.
Direct linking to Universal Nutrition websites from paid social media is prohibited
Coupons and Promo Codes
Coupons, promo codes and other incentives may be available to Animal Pak Affiliates. Please contact us for details on how to receive exclusive promos.
Affiliates may only promote codes that are provided through the Animal Pak affiliate program (either through our account or directly from Animal’s Affiliate Manager). Any transactions using other codes will not be approved.
Universal Nutrition reserves the right to withhold payment of commission if unauthorized coupon/promo codes are used in an affiliate sale. We appreciate that consumers may use coupon codes that they have found via a site other than that which is awarded the sale and this will be investigated before decisions on commission payment are made. Any affiliate found to be displaying unauthorized codes may also have their commission set to zero until the code(s) are removed.
Where coupon codes are issued with an expiration date this should be clearly displayed, and codes should be removed or explicitly marked as expired after this due date unless you are advised otherwise.
De-duplication Policy
All affiliate sales are de-duplicated against other online advertising channels using a local cookie on the merchant platform. De-duplication channels include:
